The Georgia Division of Tourism is proud to announce the launch of the “Homegrown with a Twist" Summer Celebration video contest! Please share this exciting contest with your students, colleagues, and other departments to encourage them to enter. The grand prize winner will receive more than $3,500 in prizes, including a two-night stay in Madison, Georgia, and will have their film screened at the “Homegrown with a Twist" Summer Celebration event on August 29, 2013, at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
Georgia is looking for original videos that document your favorite tourism destination, event or pastime in the state from a new and exciting viewpoint. Tell us your Georgia travel story, big or small, and capture it on video in your own creative way. Use your animation skills, capture stories or experiences with interviews, document your favorite Georgia vacation experience, or even use time-lapse technique to show culture and nature.
